Peritoneal Mesothelioma Symptoms

Symptoms of malignant peritoneal mesothelioma typically include abdominal pain and abdominal swelling. Fluid often accumulates in the abdominal space, a condition known as ascites. The growing tumor can exert increasing pressure on the organs in the abdomen, leading to bowel obstruction and distention. Abdominal pain and increased pressure exerted by the tumor, can lead to nausea, loss of appetite, weight loss, sometimes fever and anemia.
