Pericardial Mesothelioma Symptoms

The early symptoms indicating pericardial mesothelioma include chest pain, shortness of breath, cough, and palpitations. Traditional treatment includes surgery, which can be curative in localized cases. Response to radiotherapy is poor. Removal of the pericardium to alleviate symptoms and chemotherapy to reduce tumor mass are commonly used palliative measures.
